  “Motion is a kind of change, and change takes place in time. Motion can be implied as well as literal, however.” (p. 215)   After I read this chapter, I opened a file. And it showed a process bar. I thought that it is a kind of time and motion. Then, I draw it down and make a process of uploading.  "The brain retains images for a split-second longer than the images are actually before us, resulting in the illusion of movement when numerous images appear in rapid succession. This phenomenon is called 'persistence of vision.'" (p.233) Like each of these pictures, for example, the process from 10% to 20%, we only can draw the 10% and 20%, but between 10% and 20%, we cannot draw each accurate frame. So, this is what I confused before. But after seeing this chapter, I knew why animation can be coherent together.  Implied motion is common in the real picture such as the jumping process.   “Diagrams allow us to see relationships that would not come forward in a straight list of numbers or a verbal description.” (p. 215)   The Diagram usually shown as a chart. And when I think about the chart, something appears in my mind is cubic function, which is the function that can make a heart.  It's interesting for couples to use this to say love, right? I'm also really interested at the chart trends by using maps. It is a really useful and interesting way to draw a website trend. It is true that I prefer to read diagram than a paper of reading. Thinking another way, if that website trends chart was printed by a whole page of reading, do you want to read it? And the baby books were always designed by using beautiful and interesting pictures and colorful words. We can know that It's a good way to attract babies.   “Grids function throughout society.” (p. 187)    Pixel art is interesting. There is a game named "Minecraft" which is made by pixel art. In our lives, we can see a lot of things made by pixels. Like the QR code. And it used the grid to finish a round thing. In my opinion, all living creatures are composed of round things. But we can clearly see the square grid and we also can see the images. That's so funny! Using eyes as an example! We can see the facial expression on Pikachu's face. The right eye was painted by using four little grids and it looks like a round eye. The left eye was painted by using two grids and it looks like a closed eye.   We can know that layers usually show in the cover. But if we use layers to make a dairy note, what will happen?  http://xhslink.com/wDyUN   Making this kind of dairy note was really popular in China. Also, old fashion became popular these years. So, you can see that this elements are kind of old fashion. The leaves are transparency that we can see the background behind it. And the colors are similar, so it looks comfortable. Actually, I think transparency is kind of layers. Because it something is transparency, you can see the thing behind it, and that is layers.    Look at the round one. In Chinese, we call it "火漆印章", maybe fire lacquer seal in English. It originally should appear in the cover of the envelop.     Actually, I really love to study the fields of photography. And the main reason is that I want to know more about framing. In my daily life, every time I focus on the beautiful and fascinating things, I want to record them. But as you know, the real views are always more beautiful than the pictures. So, how to frame is an important thing to study. In the chapter, we can see lots of composition method. What I want to say is the camera frames and the frames inside of frames.      · First , the camera frames is a big field of framing. All pictures taken by camera need framing. A good composition can help a thing upgrade to a higher level. So, what should a good composition have? In my opinion, it needs color, light, a good aesthetic perspective and a good time. “Building on memory and experience, the brain fills in gaps and filters out extraneous data.” (99) What I'm interested in this chapter is the figure inside of figure. When I saw the figure inside of figure first, I'm really surprising about that. I thought that was amazing.  In this picture, the question is "what did you see at first sight in this picture? A dancing woman with dress, two people are kissing, or nothing." Right, it is the test for psychology. I always love to do such tests. Actually, the reason why I like this kind of picture is that it is not only just a picture, but also it is a tool that can help psychologists to get more information from others.
